– A pair of dhull puri, sort of indian pancake made from yellow lentils flour, topped with curry. On sale at street vendors, who hold little carts along the streets.
– A ” bol renversé” which means “inverted bowl” : a rice bowl, often accompanied by various vegetables and meat, covered with an egg. Placed in a plate by reversing the bowl that contains the originally dish. Delicious !
– A ourites salad : “ourites” are small octopus, with tender and tasty flesh.
– A typical Creole meal: rice, red beans, chicken curry and shrimp or sausages rougaille, accompanied by “brèdes” (leafy vegetables).
